before you junk the nav 6

well my replacement from garmin had packed up ,the usual symtoms,i rang them no joy its outside of the 90 day thing,they didnt want to know,i tried a new battery ,that didnt work.
anyway i had nothing to loose
so i took the screen off you need a t5 torx and a small phillips
i then cleaned the connections as it clips to the back of the nav

he tells you how to unclip it .fiddly but easy enough.torch and reading glasses .

anyway i dont know if its good luck ,but its now working fine .
could it have been a bit of tiny moisture but all is well now .
