Hi,
Had some files emailed to me to download onto MyRoute. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong to get them onto there.
Any ideas please.

Cheers Doc.

You need to unzip them into another directory (folder).
First I would turn on the "file type" in explorer so you can see the file extension - ie. KMZ, GPX.

Win 10?
To do that: In the Start menu search, type folder options. In the Folder Options window, click the View tab. Remove the check from "Hide extensions for known file types." Click OK

Thanks. I'll give it a go when I'm on the home computer.

One other thing perhaps, once you’ve unzipped the folders.

MyRoute, at least on my iPad, is a bit fussy as to whether the files contain a route or a track. In your second picture, you can see that there are two tabs: Route and Route-track. If, when you go upload the contents of the file using the Route tab, you get an error message. Try using the Route-track tab instead. It’ll all depend whether the original GPX file holds a route or a track or (maybe) both.

Struggling a bit here to do it.

the ipad can uncompress files now.

inside the uncompressed folder are there any files that end with .gpx ?

try and open that one. depends if its a route or track. If you cant open as a route, open as a track and convert to route.

I was trying on my home computer but thanks. I use a Samsung phone & tablet.
Anyway as Wapping says play with it and you can't break it.;)
So success.
