GPS - I'm undecided, what would you do?

I bought a 60csx initially for the DRZ.

The maps above are non routable, so I have to switch to normal routable OSM maps when off the greenlanes to get back into London.
On the 60csx this happened changing SD cards.

Once hiking from Seaford to Eastbourne, this operation meant that the SD card flew into the sea :D

I bought the 64s the week after. I have a few maps on it, and I can just switch profiles. :)

The only thing I miss of the 60CSX is, as said above, the power cable. I wired in the 64 too, but I'm scared about the longevity of that USB plug.

I'll probably just stick with my (separate) rugged smartphone.

I can switch between OSMand, OS mapping, MyRoute App, google or apple maps and one day may even make a phone call with it if I lose my iPhone :D

The only real disadvantage I have with it is charging on the go. Without a waterproof connector it's a no go in fog or rain. It was never an issue, but it's 3 years old now and th battery is not what it was, is I have to conserve power, charge or turn off when stopped etc.
Of course a new phone with cordless charging is probably in my future, but that bumps the cost considerably.
