We always go to Italy most years but there seems to be a lack of snow, Just got back from Snowboarding in Ischgl Austria, amazing conditions and a gorgeous place, a bit pricey in some bars 17.50 a beer! anything under 50 euro they wouldn't except card payment, Cash only in most bars
Anybody else been Skiing this year?

I wish, but it's probably not a good idea for us oldies, if you want to keep your knees intact.

Ischgl has always been known for high prices in season. Maybe Samnaun next time?

your never to old squibb.... im 63 and still trying to kill myself throwing myself down a mountain....im sure our lift passes included Samnaun area

Just spent two and a half weeks in the French Alps with Magnet. Great conditions after about three days of snow when we arrived. Rather cold with temperatures well into double figure minuses once the skies cleared. Beer’s not cheap in France but it’s nowhere near Austria prices.

Oh and I’m 68 so skiing isn’t just for kids. Having said that I’ve slowed down a bit and I’ve brought back our all mountain skis to sell as they’re getting a bit heavy. They may feature in the for sale section in due course.

€17.50! Wow!

Austria always used to be cheaper than France, St. Anton aside.

Apres ski. ‘Le Grand Odysee’ in Pralognan.

With the early season curtailed, you were paying for the snow, not the beer.
