Bought off here, then 18 months later I sold on to a mate, on the proviso that if he ever decided to sell it on, I would get first dibs, which never happened :blast

Agreed
Scooters are the future and those smart people have got in early

They serve their purpose and do things very well that a larger bike can’t .
It must be in the water , but British bikers are the most insecure and blinkered in Europe .
Mid size and maxi scoots such as TMaxs are all over mainland Europe, especially France, Spain and Italy .
Yet the standard boring British biker is too thick or set in his ways so we get the shite such as that posted above .

It’s one of the reasons that riding on the continent is so much nicer than riding in the UK.

Keep the ignorant cûnts isolated !! :)

Just like the big trail bikes, eg 1100GS, which were common in Europe years before the UK's "Adventure" brigade / press took them into their hearts.

The pocket rocket, nothing quicker from A to B on my daily commute.

Not bad . Got to five posts before the cliche brigade arrived .

My mate has had the X ADV 750 for about a year and some of our biker mates were a bit unkind saying that it'll be no fun touring on that (he came from multiple GS Adventures).

When I got mine there were sarcastic cries of "gay" etc....All in jest mostly....but after having had mine for exactly 2 weeks, there's nothing else I'd want to tour on. Maybe a 900cc version with 30 more BHP, but that would upset the fundamentals as they are.

I couldn't be happier.

Mike, you do know you're in Scooterdom here, don't you?

A hoody is de rigueur !

How aboot a hoodie craw....? Actually, I might still have a couple of hoody tops. I think I'll take a run down to Kirkcaldy and see if the've got a demo.

The bike is looking smart Deek, appreciate the bar risers for my Urban and great to bump into you at Powmill milk bar the other day, good luck with the new steed.

Aye, here's me and Dens X ADVs at Powmill. Not the best photo, but hot coffee was required....and heated grips...you surprised me Brian when I was leaving...didn't see you at all.

My newly purchased TMAX 500..

And my XMAX 250I I purchased in October 22
( my bimbling steed )

Never thought I'd ever ride a scooter, let alone own 2.
But my lower limbs have deteriorated somewhat & I can no longer get my ' leg over ' uw mister...:D

So to keep riding I had 2 find another way.
