Schuberth c3 pro issue

I removed the visor of my c3 pro (to avoid scratching it whilst fitting a new comms unit) and the gasket around the top of the visor has become detached.
I now can't get it to re-seat and every time I flip up the chin it clashes and becomes detached again.
There are slots in the lid and tabs on the gasket but they don't seem to hold the gasket firmly, clearly I'm missing something or maybe it's just s*&t.

Does anyone else have this issue? Please could someone post an image of how it sits?

According to the chinbar, definitely a C3Pro, purchased a few years ago from Infinity in York, I think the C4 had just come out, perhaps your s is a little older (or newer )

Yes I'm contemplating doing that. it's still under warranty but i'm a bit reluctant for couriers to kick it to Germany and back (I don't have the original packaging) when I suspect that they might just get out the loctite too!

Yes I think mine is older - the Schuberth site shows your design.

did you buy it direct from Germany?

The initial responsibly is with the dealer you bought it from.

I have an E1 , basically a C3 pro it also has the rubber gasket as shown

bought in Nov last year

I bought it online from the sportsbikeshop, they have responded straight away but I'll need to courier back to them and then they send it on to Schuberth for assessment. I've glued it for now as I'd rather be riding ;-)

Looking at it more closely its a terrible design. the gasket catches on the chin bar and folds over on it self every time you flip the lid open - I guess that's why they changed it in the later versions.
