Right folks. This is all organised again.

Location The Miner's Winster

Friday 9th for those that want to come early, Saturday 10th over to Sunday 11th June. Those off to the TT will be home by then, or can drop in on their way home. :D

There are a couple of B&B rooms, if you are quick. One room already booked by the black 100 paralever from the peaty fenlands. Camping for the rest of us mere mortals. Beer is very good as is the food.

There will be a rideout on the Saturday, last year led by Mick261 or whatever he calls himself on here, the one with the crooked spire. And Tetley and TimeandTide (you need a heavy right wrist because they wait for no man). I have an idea for a route that would suit more nimble bikes. If someone turns up on a K1600 they had better be good. The roads are small, twisty and steep and with some gates, but are all tarmac. Gravelly sections can be incorporated if there are no road bikes. That is something we can wing on the day, by having a prepped route for the more offroad capable and a route for purely road types.

Numbers needed, purely so they can reserve us some space for the pegs and guy lines. I doubt they will run out of beer. :D

ps - any chance some technowizard of the mods can put it in the events section please? Or at least copy it to there.

I shall try to make this after having to drop out with Covid last year. I still have my "straight down the middle" route on the sat nav.

I will be coming if I am in the country - So I cant sell me best bike ever
No Campin for me thanks I have a bed and wife 10 mile away -
I will do some GPS stuff if anyone wants a route or 2

Very interested put me down.

The road across the back of Baslow I could do with a reminder... left at the r'bout, follow the river but then I have forgotten the bit that goes up to the 'edge' and around the top where the hairpin junction and cattle grid are... that then comes to down to Ladybower road. Will you be about before then? I also had an idea to go to the lesser ridden parts to the SE, people don't tend to do the lanes around the top of Leek, Tittesworth, Gun Hill and Danebridge area. Be new for many.

I'll give you a ring.:thumby:

This could be the new Dent:D. better scenery would be hard to find
last week walking Bamford edge overlooking Ladybower Dam

Noted, TY. If I'm not working and my ankle op doesn't get in the way and I'm not in Germany I aim to be there.

Sadly I don’t own an airhead so I can’t join the fun. I do know the area quite well because my parents lived in the Peak District (actually my mum still does) and for anyone who doesn’t know it you’ll have fun.

They aren't all airheads.... other bikes came too. :D

PLEASE SEE NEW POST.. the dates are wrong, which means Richard might be able to make it, straight from the 24 hours of drinking.... I await how many remain and how many will drop out. Soryy, out of my control.:blast BUT ALL SORTED NOW. :thumby:
