For the sake of a “road test” I’ve been out with the “Old Man” (76 and still going strong) tonight testing Guinness and Jameson. It works, I’m pi**ed see you next Friday :nono

Dave

Had a bit of a "road test" myself last night. £2 a pint for the black stuff

You got a silly hat for every four pints, woke up this morning with two hats  Shall I bring them with me :D

right folks,
just a thought (a rare event in my head admittedly  ) but wouldn't it be a good idea to swop mobile Ph. No.s?
- not all and sundry - but say, me in Dublin, someone Wesht and someone North?
that way we could if the need arose communicate in the event of fu.... er, breakdowns etc?
P.M me for mine.

and - WHO _exactly_ is goin' ?
roll call time!

lastly - sadly we got to head for home mid afternoon on Sunday. if that coincides with U.K Tossers heading for Dublin ferries - let me know if you want an escort :thumb

see youz tomorrow evening :)

Not a bad idea, Og :thumb

Just in case someone, esp. a visitor, has a breakdown / puncture, etc & needs a hand it might be a good idea as part of the roll call to also give some indication of estimated departure time & proposed route ;)

I'll start - Dellis & I will be leaving Dublin shortly after his ferry gets in (10.30) tomorrow & heading Clonee, Summerhill, Trim, Oldcastle, Cavan, Enniskillen, Kesh, Donegal Town, Letterkenny. ( anything to avoid the main roads ) :D

Also, if anyone fancies travelling with us give me a shout

Have a great trip one and all.

Jockser - re the back roads, on the way to town this morning on the road from Summerhill to Clonee, I noticed a few different patches of muck dragged out from fields 4 or so miles out on the Summerhill side of Dunboyne. Watch out in case its representative of farming activities elsewhere!

Rural Ireland is alive and well-covered in sh*te where you least expect it. Hopefully it may have dried a bit by August!
