Regional Co-ordinators and team members..……..Sunday 12 March 2006
Thanks to those of you who’ve posted your proposed regional route plans as requested.
If we stick to the posted routes so far, the challenge is likely to take over 100 hours to complete. Even taking into account the extra day we’ve given ourselves this still takes the finish well into late Saturday.
So with this in mind, please take a look at the route on the map HERE. If followed it should enable us to complete the relay challenge in little over 70 hours as per the original idea. It will also give us a bit of leeway for the inevitable delays. If you have a GPS, the link below will give you the route in a bit more detail.
The route isn’t using twisty biking roads or the most scenic but it is using the quickest, easiest roads, and probably the safer roads for those riding of you through the night.
Would each Regional Co-ordinator and their team members look at the route and let me know your thoughts before Sunday.
After Sunday the 12th of March, we need to fix a definitive route as the official ‘Pink Way Around Britain’ challenge route. We’ve a programme deadline that has to be met, the marketing and PR related material has to be printed soon and we’d therefore really appreciate you’re constructive comments back no later than the date above.
Thanks so much for your help and co-operation; it’s very much appreciated.
If you do have any questions or queries relating to the above or indeed the link attachment please post them here and I’ll do my best to help
