Hi guys,

Finally got my license and was able to snap some pictures of my beauty!

Only had about 400km worth of riding, but already in love :)

Quiet little bimble yesterday evening.
120+ miles since engine rebuild and she runs like a new bike.

New to me 1981

Finally after wanting one for many years I now have this one...bought off here recently.

Looking to keep it pretty much as original as I can, want to do a few little bits and pieces to it but not a lot..

A few years ago my Uncle left me his R80RS. Just recommissioned it this week and will be taking it into work for an MoT tomorrow :)

Cyprus temperatures are beginning to drop - only 27 C today. Time to go exploring.

That's a very nicely specced bike Stuart and almost exactly what I'm looking for at the moment, apart from I need a dual seat and BMW panniers. Crash bars look great too. The standard ones are rubbish and offer no protection to the rocker covers in even a low speed spill (don't ask me how I know).
Steve.

Thanks Steve, It's been a 19 year process of change and tinkering to get to how i want her! I've put a lot of touring miles on in my ownership, so the subtle changes have been things that i've thought over the years would improve her, braking, frame mods, engine mods, and suspension. Needed some head work doing last year, so whilst the engine was striped i put in a 7rock asymmetric cam, did a few frame mods (swingarm 2x shock positions, standard and +25mm), machined a lower fork yoke to replace top yoke, made rear rack, repaired center stand frame tabs (were oval),and fresh powder coat.

I've the standard racks and panniers for touring, next i want to get the bench seat recovered, that will have to wait though!
