If you'd like to have a ride offroad on some gentle green lanes and tracks, this BH Monday 30th May, then this could be for you!

The pace will be steady and suitable for 650's/800's & big GS's, taking in unsurfaced/surfaced lanes and grassy lanes

We'll take in some of the NY Moors and the Yorkshire Wolds and will be out until late afternoon, with loads of photo & tea room opportunities

Would you like some of this?

Ideally I'd like no more than 10 bikes, emphasis will be on fun......................not bike-wrecking

Meet - Thirsk Market Place @ 10am.......................for a 10.30am start - plenty of fuel/refreshments available at the start

I'd love to come but my bike is a DR250 not a GS.
Additionally, I'm desperately seeking a speedo cable and not having much luck because it's a weird import model.
I'm seeking off road trails that aren't particularly technical - I want the enjoyment of riding in Yorkshire rather than testing how many bones I can break in a day! :)
I only started off roading in January with a Serow but that got stolen a few days after I completed the off road day with i2i. Have done nothing since so I'm still very green at the gills (and other places when faced with something scary!)

Your DR250 will be perfect, so come along and forget about needing a speedo cable, won't stop you riding the bike

Would love to join in, but start time too early due to other commitments, me and wifey would be coming from Driffield. Serow 225 & Yam xt125.

Are any of your routes a bit closer to us, maybe could join up later ???

We'll be ending up in your area:thumb

What start time would suit you or what time could you get over to to Helmsley or Malton?

See if we can join you - however it would be 2-up on the lower 650 so intersting  although the delightful Serows and other BMs will be MOTd they won't be taxed until 1st June :tears FyB

I think if you got to Thirsk PO tomorrow morning (SAT), you'll be able to tax the Serows on the 28th, for the new month and be legal, without backdating to 1st May.........................so get it done and let Bev have her own bike

2 up will be ok-ish, nothing tricky

Yes please love to join you.
Got bit of a ride to get to you but sure it will be worth it!
Can't decide which bike GSA or x challenge leaning towards x challenge I think!
More fun on the lanes.
Look forward to it 

Monday Numbers

How you doing for numbers on Monday, myself and wheelnut were planning an excursion to Whitby, but would benefit from some company, so if you've space for a G650 & WR250 we would enjoy partaking of your trails.

Cheers,

Chris.:JB

Fine, it'll be ok...........................but it won't be a fast pogo type ride, just a 'no pressure' bimble

the wifes just given me a pass out if you are still ok for numbers, only prob being is im on a standard 1200gs with road biased tyres and no crash bars, would love to give something like this a try, if these aren't going to be issues then i'll come along.:bounce1

Hopefully

John, if we ain't there by the offing, off without us :P not guaranteed on plans.

Still f*cking about trying to get insurance sorted, so no serow presence from us though whatever the tax man sayeth. Awaiting the 'free' classic eVoucher from eBike for Bev's Classic, the white & 'magenta' one will be staying home.

Shall 'raise' 650 in optimism though :thumb Hopefully be there.

Bear in mind there is a BH market, though the inordinatly awkward m/c parking bay will still be there by pedestrian crossing point...mind the bollards

You'll be fine, the trails are dry and you can always go around by road, if you're unsure....................emphasis will be on novices and catering for their lack of ability:D

JB - if it's ok, I'll join you please. Kev

DA1ES - are you based in HX area? If so, and you're on for travelling in from there, I'm in the same area and we could join up for the ride across.:thumb2
