i'm off to the cotswolds on my old twin cam tomorrow and i'm a bit concerned that my lack of horsepower will be holding up you quick boys on your LCs.

please accept my apologies in advance for any hinderance i may cause as i wheeze past any morris minors i may encounter. i promise to move over and let the riding gods through as i struggle along with the missus on and a bit of luggage.

thanks for your patience.

About time someone understood the pecking order, well done...

Oh, and I'd expect a wrung cap and a tug of the forelock when speaking to any of us in future.

i intend growing a forelock at the earliest opportunity.

er, sir, your worship :D

There are a few others needing a lesson as well. Firefly doesn't understand which caste he's in for a start.

I think the odd mobile chicane adds to the whole experience and it's very kind of you to indulge our superiority complex.

Thank you in advance.

So if you put a donkey in a stable....it can then go and win the Grand National?.....Erm, no!:comfort

if you want to talk about donkeys, i think you really should be posting in the 11** section.

Yes, I remember the day you were on your air head and I was following on my then new Griso.

I say following............but.........thinking back it was more a case of 'where's the fecker gone' :eek

I too will be visiting the Cotswolds tomorrow and sunday with luggage and girlfriend but as it happens on the way i shall be popping intp hilltop for the remap of the airhead !

Obviously i shall not be used to the power increase so will be courteous and not get in your way (possibly by being so far in front)

I'll be in the Cotswolds this weekend, so will keep an eye out for two old farts on a wheezy old twin cam relic:D You won't even know it was me that overtook you, I'll be going so fast:P

I'll be in the Cotswolds too! If you come out of whatever trendy bistro you may lunch at to find a red paintstreak down the side of your bike, don't worry, it's where I used your bike to stop my C90. :thumb It's got crap brakes y'know! :D

there'll be a small group of us vintage GS enthusiasts out on the w/e, none blessed with the latest whizz-bang technology. so if you do get behind a long queue of traffic, it may not be a hay rick or particularly slow traction engine that's causing the holdup :(

do spare a thought for the less privileged as you rocket by the entire sorry procession in one hit, on barely a whiff of throttle :bow

Unfortunately I will be in the garage this weekend removing play from my bevel box. I noticed it was wiggling around last weekend once I started thraping it. Horrendously disconcerting to have the whole bike wobble at 35mph :eek::eek:

Once it's fixed I reckon it'll be good for another 8-10mph for sure :thumb2

The new LC has a wobble function as standard :-)
