has anyone put wider rear tyres on their LC yet, and changed the front to 17"

I'm following this. I'm also interested to know whether there's an HP2WC in the pipeline? That would be a lot of fun.
I have a pair of wheels off a R1200S that never made it onto my old GS. Tried moving them on but never had any interest. Not sure I want to SM the LC just yet, but I'm certainly watching this space...

Hmmm you might screw up the calibration of the traction control, fancy suspension etc, unless you have the standard bike. A similar question was asked in Fast Bikes recently and Honda were adamant that it should not be done and this was just a tyre profile change.
It never screwed up my Traction or the ESA on my twin cam Infact, i was contacted by bike mag whom wanted to convert there bike, after varies details and checking they did exactly the same mod to there rallye bike, it can be seen in various bike mag publishes.
Sometimes I feel you need to go against the grain, BMW told me it was impossible/I could not change the indicator switch gear and cancel around on my TC, however I did do so and rewired them. I think they say No to protect themselfs from any claims in the event it goes tits up.
Anything is Possible .
