MOT due on GS this Saturday, last night checked the rear wheel. Play is obvious.
At work today I phoned Barry Barber, he said I could bring it to him today. So after work he looked at the bike and said it was definitely the paralever bearings. He took it into his workshop there & then
Took the back wheel off, heat gun out nuts loosened. Ooh, these feel rough. As indeed they did
Are you in a rush? I could do this now. Hour & a half later job done.
Even though He's never seen me before, & I said that I didn't have the money on me, he did the job anyway.
See him tomorrow & give him the £100.
Saved me from a probable MOT failure
