guess you'll be sat alone in the corner again with a half of mild and packet of scratchings:rob :D

That's a definite maybe from me. It's a boys' weekend away over the Bank Holiday, but if the home reception upon this hero's return is OK, then I will join you.

Greg,

Can't make it next week as I'm off sailing hopefully. As it's on my way home via the M25 most Tuesdays, I could be tempted next time.

How about combining it with a short offroad run whilst we have the light evenings and the lanes aren't too bad for GS's?

Whitewebbs... is that where the motorbike museum is?

The museum is just down the road from the pub & golf course.

I did think about asking if we could meet at the museum, but it's short notice and they will have been very busy over the weekend with the Enfield Motoring Pageant which takes place over the 3-day weekend.

Its a pub

Greg,
How long has W.W.H been a Brewer,s fayre ???,As its been, well a long time up that lane, as we normally go via Clay hill round to Crews Hill not Bullsmore lane.
Has it a car park or do you park in the lane by the Gate like the old day,s ,
.

My mistake. It's now a Toby Inn - but it's hard to tell the difference from a Brewers Fayre!

The pub has a substantial car park (all tarmaced) right outside the building. You have to drive a couple of hundred yards down a private lane from Whitewebbs Road - watch the speedhumps!
