'Deutsch Marques! – Teutonic efficiency and engineering'
All German-produced cars and motor bikes welcome

I plan to get to Goodwood around 9:00.

I have spoken to the organisers, and we should be able to park GSes in the paddock area. It really depends on how many people turn up on German cars/bikes !

I am going to Goodwood! The sun is out

What's the best route?
1. Fastest?
2. Scenic?

From Slough ...

Cheers and see you there!

Depends how early you want to get up !

Since it is a breakfast meeting I intend to go there the fastest route possible, then maybe tour around a bit afterwards - it all depends on who turns up and which they are heading home.

hmmm .... good point.

So what's the fastest route? google maps says round M25, A3 and Goodwood.

Get off the A3 just before Petersfield and head for Midhurst A272. At mini roundabout in the town, hang a right on the A286, Just after Singleton village turn left for Goodwood. Up over the Trundle with the racecoarse on your left and just keep going. You'll eventually come to the airfield. For a more scenic route turn off the A3 at Hindhead (A287, Left at lights) and follow signs for midhurst.

Hope it helps. :thumb2

I'll be there too, with another BM and a KTM er.
Looks like i'll have to split from the KTM, if we get our own parking...

KTM's are Austrian - thats practically Germany!

I heard last year that KTM and Ural outfits had their own separate parking annex - can you see where Im going with this?

Perfect! Cheers.

Bastards, the lot of you.

I've read this thread and started looking forward to it, weather looks like it should be good, interesting meet, good venue, etc, then remembered I'm off to Brittany with the family on Saturday morning. :o

Have a good time. :thumb

Novice

I'm planning on going as well on Sunday. I'll be leaving from Taplow right by the Bishops Centre if you fancy meeting up. I'm planning on getting there early for brekkers so should be leaving around 0700 - 0730. :thumb

Nice Run...

Was out the house at 6:30 for fuel etc. Hung about waiting for Novice 'til 7:30 at the top of the A3, headed off. Cheers to the couple that thought I'd broken down too.

Followed the GPS south on the A2something, nice roads and no traffic to speak of.

I think i might have got there first and was told to park on the track.

Had a Cheeseburger and Tea (£7) for breakfast. The queue in the main kitchen part was far too long to wait in. Saw Nick & Nadeem.

Decided it was far too hot and headed back following the digital dingbat again keeping nice and cool going through the downs.
