Snoopy arrived on the Sunday morning quick brew and a plan was hatched.
A days trail riding get some practice for the Cambrian Rally me on the old heavy 1150 Snoops on his HP2 eating DRZ 400.I had an idea that we'd Recce a new track I've been over it on the DR but never the 1150.At this point I was a liitle nervous being in the company of a true Aventurer and offroad God.
The first few miles are grassy tracks taking you gently up into the hills.
Pics taken looking back
Not often you a sign like this
surface then changes to rough gravel
Snoopy pointing out the HP2 Eater.
Next up miles of pretty smooth forest trail.
Which suddenly stops.
End of the road ?
The 1150 stops here no chance I'm trying to get across
Snoopy says "You want me to ride through here "
Bait taken Snoopy heads off for his bike
Little does Snoopy know this is our version of the MOTORWAY

Earlier in the year.
Here's a edited down video of Snoopy in Action

Sorry about the wind noise, laughing, crying, swearing, crashing and pissing.

Snoopy looking a little worn out after 60 mins stuck in a bog

I think he's saying "YOU BASTARD"
Then it was back the way we'd came.
Next gate I look round and there's no Snoopy so I took a pic of the 1150 and waited .
Here he comes with tales of big ditches and a bike upside down
Couple more of the track views are stunning .
We made it back to mine 100 mile round trip.
Snoopys DRZ was still in one piece the spanners had only been out a couple of times.
PS Old heavy 1150 didn't miss a beat all day and I never fell off
This trip report could all be a set up to put Mr Tickle and the HP2 boys off the scent....
