This will have to do tonight got brain fade ::spl1f:

Snoopy arrived on the Sunday morning quick brew and a plan was hatched.
A days trail riding get some practice for the Cambrian Rally me on the old heavy 1150 Snoops on his HP2 eating DRZ 400.I had an idea that we'd Recce a new track I've been over it on the DR but never the 1150.At this point I was a liitle nervous being in the company of a true Aventurer and offroad God.:mmmm

The first few miles are grassy tracks taking you gently up into the hills.
Pics taken looking back;)

We made it back to mine 100 mile round trip.
Snoopys DRZ was still in one piece the spanners had only been out a couple of times.

PS Old heavy 1150 didn't miss a beat all day and I never fell off :thumb

This trip report could all be a set up to put Mr Tickle and the HP2 boys off the scent....

fantastic pics :thumb

Snoopy's bike looked a lot cleaner when I saw it the other day....judging by the amount of falling off, is he allowed on the road :augie

:hide

I kept coming off, not sure what it was :D but probably the full tank didn't help matters.

Damage includes a deep scratch to the bling gold forks :tears and the left side is scratched quite nicely now. Right indicator needs replacing. I had fuel pissing out the carb overflow but this has since "corrected" itself without user intervention.:thumb2

Forry missed the two most spectacular offs I had, one was up an incline where I fell off into a ditch and the other I slid down the gravel path for a bit (which caused the scratches).

On another note, Forry makes a good cuppa. :thumb

And so the DRZ lives on to another day...

Fantastic pictures and very funny write-up! :clap :clap:clap

Have you ever thought of having a UKGSer Do in your back garden, Forry? :augie :D

Nice write up.
Snoopy you've got forking trail tyre on:augie
Mind you that tail bag is a nice upgrade from the Sainsbury one I last saw you with. Much better for keeping cameras in.:D
Good luck to you both in the Cambrian:beerjug:
