Do any of the folk from the central belt ever meet up for wee jaunts at the weekend? I'd really look forward to tagging along at some point! Incidentally many thanks to all at Motorrad for making my recent purchase a pleasurable experience........and its no easy gettin me tae part wi money!:(.......Really enjoyed the chilli dogs.......I'll bring my own jalapenos next year though:spitfire

Not exactly 'central belt', but not that far away either. So if you fancy a run on the lesser known Borders' roads (and some of the usual suspects) and even further South :eek: then let me know.

Am thinking of a day out next weekend. Not sure yet though.

Not a bad idea. I've done the Captain's Road which seems straightforward enough (well at my pace and in the relative dry anyway :o) but not Eskdalemuir. Is that the forest just south west of Samye Ling?

Yes thats the part, the roads are so smooth that that can get up to 60mph on forest tracks
