I'm considering putting one of these:rob:rob:rob on my Xmas wish list for my 12GSA. Any one got any experience of this product?

Cheers

I know it's a tarty thing to say but I don't think I could put up with the looks.

tart - its definitely on my list, as it apparently keeps your left leg dry.

Probably one of the most expensive bits of injection moulded plastic known to man. :) ah, but then it is from wunderlich :blast

however friend of mine bought one, seems to do the job, and very easy to fit :thumb

I installed the W hugger some time ago, and I'm very satisfied with its performance:thumb2. The spray to my left leg is much reduced and the rear suspension is now still clean after riding in the wet. Also the battery and space beneath the seat are now much cleaner. Well worth the high price if you ask me:D. I also have the W sidepanels that will make the hugger almost invisible.

I have also fitted this WL hugger to my machine along with a cut rubber flap immediatly to the rear of the battery, this was provided by a fellow Geeser I have met at Rivi Barn.
The combination of both keeps the battery and gubinz clean and prevents spray getting to my leg/boots and rear suspension.
It is expensive but at the time I had the spare cash. I do not think I can run to the side panel, so will have to put up with the exposed cable ties!.

Must admit I thought the same but, once fitted, you hardly notice it there - for some reason it seems more prominent in the piccie above :nenau

Looks far more 'right' on the bike than a hugger IMHO.

Are huggers not just a must-have accessory for ex-sports bike riders? :nenau

A GS is meant to be a hard-core round the world Enduro - a bit of rain / spray might even HELP it's appearance? :D

My experience also. Shame it was only available in Carbon as a moulded item would have been more in keeping with the GSA image. It's been on for 18mnths and 18K miles without problem

Edit. sorry just noticed that the hugger in the piccie isn't the same as mine so it may well fall off, foul tyre, look shite etc - sorry (but it will probably be fine)
