The last chance for a ride out this year I guess. Anyone fancy saturday 15th or sunday 16th?

Sorry Andy cant make next weekend as picking my son up from Winchester university on Saturday then working Saturday 19.00hrs to Sunday 07.00hrs, so sleeping till Sunday pm. I will be weekends off from 6th Jan through to end of Jan. Would be up for starting a ride in North Cornwall, Wadebridge/ Camelford area & heading up to your part of the world if people like the idea in Jan and the weathers good. Just as well we are not out today, blowing a gale and rain horizontal at the moment.

Cheers Geoff.

hi devon we can do th 15th or the 16th, we can do the route and perhaps do another one in new year up to yours and bubbles way:)

I can do either day but Saturday would be favourite. I am away from Tuesday to Friday and won't be near a pooter but I can go with any plans that are made :thumb2
A New Year ride up the Atlantic Highway (north Cornwall/north Devon) sounds good as well Bubbles :)

ok saturday it is, we will meet at costa in st austell at 10.30 :)

forgot to mention costa is behind mcdonalds on the roundabout heading out to mevagissy.;)

H i guys would like to try and make it down saturday, does anyone have a location for the meet other than Costa, as i do not no the area that well.

Is there anybody else going down from North Devon i'm based in Barnstaple and looking at the map its about a 2 hour trip down, looking at going down the coast road bude etc and down then across perhaps Bodmin, any body want some company on the way down let me no

cheers Badger

hi try pm devon, but he won't answer till perhaps friday because he's not near a computer. costa is on the road to mevagissy. if your coming from bude way you will go though bugle and take the roundabout (second junction) towards st austell, keep on this rd you will arrive iin the town. you will go round a sharp right corner and straight after that turn left, at the roundabout take second junction, then you will come to another roundabout take middle lane to mevagissy. costa on left behind mc donalds. good luck:eek:

Hi Badgerrrr, short notice as I have just got back. I intend to leave Bideford 9am tomorrow. I reckon launceston then bodmin/St austell on the way down, then the coast road home. Barry G is meeting me in Bideford for the ride down. I cant pm you Badgerrrrr as your'e not a subscibed member, but if you are at the first layby out of Bideford (on the left) on the Torrington road for 9am we can travel down together.
Look forward to meeting up with everyone again :)

another good ride out. met at Costa in St Austell for a "bucket " of coffee, followed by a nice ride out down through Mevagissey, on past Carhayes castle, up over the hill and onto the King Harry ferry(just for pastyman!) a quick stop off in Mylor to use the toilet with the most beautiful view in the country :augie and then off to Falmouth for lunch! after lunch set off to portreath and then up to Newquay where we all made our seperate ways home. a good day, surprisngly warm for the time of year.:clap:clap

Sounds like a good day out, wish I could have been there:(. But where are the pics:augie

We had a great ride out with a lot of the roads pretty much to ourselves. Happy Pilgrim and Pastyman took us to some great spots :clap Harry Pilgrim took a couple of pics but we missed Devon and Cornwall's unofficial trusted cameraman :thumb
