Re: BikeSafe Day 2008 (Haynes Motor Museum 12/13 Apr)
Advance notice
...........maybe a 'tossers' rideout to the event can be arranged?
Police Forces in the region are working together with Somerset Road Safety Partnership in order to launch Bikesafe in the South West for 2008.
The event will take place on 12th and 13th April at the Haynes Motor Museum near Yeovil and will involve all emergency services, Local authorities, IAM, RoSPA and other independent motorcycle training providers, together with local retailers. The message is that further rider training ‘post test’ can reduce the risk of involvement in serious or fatal incidents dramatically and also reduce Insurance premiums.
This event will enable motorcyclists to gather all the information about what is available in the area in which they live, attend presentations and have the opportunity for ride-outs with police officers to understand the benefits and feel the difference.
"Haynes Museum has a world renowned exhibition of vehicles and provides an excellent venue for this event" said PS Mike Smalley. "Rider training is the best accessory that you can buy for your bike or your biking loved one"
If You belong to a motorcycle club, ride by yourself or with others and have wondered what rider training can do for you, come and join us at Haynes. Why not have a look around the museum, enjoy the restaurant facilities and realise your full potential as a motorcyclist. But most of all STAY SAFE.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU.
