This evening a few stout fellows + one intrepid lady met at a dubious truckstop.

Our intrepid leader, Greg, was modelling the latest in Twat suits. Muttering about it being very cheap is no excuse as he now seems to realise...

Mark, off-road novice and all-round goodie gets ready...

The tracks were a combination of muddy bits, slippy stuff, a bit more mud and some other slippy bits. Mark + Carl:

And so to the pub for a photocall. It's a Toby Carvery and because Mark has shagged the manageress we're allowed to park on the grass for the pictures.

Mark, however, had other ideas this time. His bike was tired. It needed a lie down, so he laid it onto the nice soft grass.

And Mark, if you want to tell another story you'll have to present photographic evidence. :D:dabone

And so to the money shot:

Thanks for a nice evening folks, and to Greg for leading us astray! :thumb

Thanks for a great evening out.:clap:clap:clap

I hope your bike gets better soon Joe.

Great Picks, i only put mine down on the floor so everyone else could see what a 1150 looks like underneath, and to demonstrate the correct way to lift a bike up using the correct lifting technique so not to damage the Muscular skeletal system.

I think my bike was the only one to go down on the grass, others just lent their bike against others, didn't they David:tosser:tosser

Greg and Dave (Super Enduro) are off road Gods, Thanks for looking after us and picking up the pieces;);)

Carl, David Hale, PhysioJo, Pathalogical, Greg Masters, SuperEnduroR. Thanks for looking after me in the wet, muddy, sloppy bits.

Great to see new faces Carl, SiMo, Alan and Sumera (lncmgl) and SuperEnduroR.

and to Darkhorse Dave and tommy2bellies.

Same again next month, You bet

Thanks for the photos, and to Greg for organising it. In spite of everything I did enjoy the evening :) and feel more confident on some of the rough ground. Still don't know what to do about mud tho'!

Got the bike home safely but slowly. Still losing oil. Am going to phone Battersea to ask their advice and Pathologic will post on the 650 section for any info. Will let you know how it turns out. Don't want to be without my bike for any length of time :(.

Physiojo

Thanks everyone!!!

Thank you all for a great night and outing!!!:bounce1

I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to more of the same!!! Nice putting faces to names and thanks again to GREG MASTERS who was so kind as to:
1. come to my flat,
2. repair my bike
3. and it only cost me a cup of tea and a pint of Coke.

Greg, thank you very much, hope I can return the favour one day.

Cheers
