Well 8 riders meet up at Bentley and the morning started with some gentle gravelly lanes. Well that soon went out the window. Well according to the newbies. But full respect to our newbie with the tourances, He solidered on and had a grin the size of his crash helmet. Well the pic`s that will be posted in the following week should tell the story better. The last lane probably proving to be the best. Im sure that bomb hole wasnt as deep as that last time.:blast

Copy from South East thread....

Thanks for organising a cracking day out and all credit to everyone who was riding GS's on those trails. Sorry Drumacoon I would have watched out for you but I thought you were breaking off before the pub :beerjug: .

Millard's spinning his wheels but he's going nowhere!

By 1pm most of the trails had thawed and the temperature had come up enough to break out the suntan lotion.

A bit of emergency surgery - It wasn't long until someone was going to lie down in the mud!

Cheers for a great day and the pootle around the local lanes. Great company & nice turn out of the bigger machines.
Hats off to Blueflame for doing the doo with the Tourances. Top notch for the first outing & on a big ol' 12 as well. Top stuff!

Big thanks to Horse for organising the day, the lanes and the choice of a pub for a nose bag stop as well as getting us all a round of drinks. Top man!

Here are a few of my shots from the day.
I'll have the vid on here soon.

Arrived nice & early at the RV point and soon we had a gathering.
Horse opened up his OS144 to show the chosen lanes.

A few shots during stops.

Always a good idea to bring a flask in this weather.
Coffee?

Excellent shots! looks like you covered a few of the lanes that we did pre-Christmas... I recognise one of the stops and a couple of the lanes. Well done for getting GSs through there's plenty of ruts and some nice deep puddles from what I remember

FYI, the garage in Four Marks seems to be offroader freindly if you want to clean them down next time you've finished that route... pretty cheap too.

I'm sure that bit's not meant to go there! (thanks to Motorhead for the spanner and Clive for getting down and for removing "that bit")

REALY, state of your clutch, our tourance friend was the only one who should have clutch worries.

Can`t wait till we can organise next trip. Will have to do the last lane again, and im sure the rest of you need to attempt the last bomb crater. Also im sure the conker`s garden nursery track will have to be attempted.
:augie:thumb2:augie

LET`S GO MUD BOGGING.....!!!!!
