I had a fantastic time with great people in a truly wonderful country - can't wait to return.

Excellent! enjoyed that thanks:)

+1 :clap :bow:bow Could I ask if people insist on posting ride reports, they don't make them look so good. I keep changing my mine of where to go on my hols ! I think I've made my mine up and then someone comes along and throws a spanner in the works. And this looks like another route for serious consideration. Well done.

Great - thanks for sharing those :thumb2
Do you have a map of the route you took?

Great Pics

Dave, the pics are top notch, I'm going to steal some for mine I think:green gri

Great having you along mate, maybe see you at another one:thumb

It was the campsite at a village called Durness. Its on the North coast, about 5 miles east of Cape Wrath. It was a bit windy camping on the cliff edge but the view was to die for!
More photos of this site and beach at sunrise on the Dog's Nuts write up in this section.

Out of shot was hot shower block, clean bogs and a fab pub that served great food and had the footy on - bliss!

Thanks for the stickers Dave, they're going straight on my panniers & I'll post the photos of my West Coast adventure when I get back.
