Where do you put short videos of rides? Ride reports I guess.. Anyway, although not as exciting or adventurous as most ride reports, me and Carl, both novice off roaders went out for a spin out this weekend...Hope you like the clip folks...

Loved it

Good on 'ya for getting out there and using the bike properly - certainly didn't look like novices to me.

What area was this - makes me want to jump on the bike and head out there!

Ragnar, it was up in the hills around Bowland to the north east of Preston. Give me a shout if you ever get up this way and I'll show you around...

Well done, Steve. I should have warned you about that last trail as the climb out of it is always wet & slippery, especially when you've just come out of the ford. I've crossed that ford on my R80GS when it was so deep that the water was running over the tops of the cylinders... Great fun

Nice one Paul Funnily enough, last time me and doc did the route, we left the last lane out to go and get a bacon butty at Caton, so it was a bit of a shock/nice surprise when we got to it. I thought the GS12's would struggle a bit getting out, but they rode it out no problem It just amazes me what the big bikes are capable of!!

When did you do this? I was up there on sunday, bit of a detour on the way home from llangollen! I did spot some fresh TKC prints at all the gates

EErrr, less of the old my bikes only 6 weeks old You're right about them being beasts to pick up though, nearly put my back out more than once that day

Have done a better edited and shorter version of the clip above. Quite like doing these vids so I got hold of Final Cut Express....Only means I'll have to do more riding and filming in the long run
