A day on the sauce

Had the HP for a week now and went out today for the first time to see what it can do off road.
Way more than I can do is the answer!

Started off with a bacon butty and a clean bike.

Then a couple of easy lanes to get used to the bike.

Then a trip to the natural habitat of the HP followed by progressively cheekier lanes and a nice bit of road in between them.

No major damage though, an indicator sorted with a bit of gaffer tape.
I was getting tired now though so time for a slap up lunch in Matlock Bath and a look at the nice shiny Harleys and sports bikes "parked" there.

Just about to set off for the jet wash and got chatting to a young lad on an XT 600. After 5 minutes he was pleading for me to take him on a few lanes. So what could I do,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

An hour later I was bolloxed and I was getting way past my talent level so time to head home before I hurt myself.

He was kind enough to take a pic of me though.

In summary, the bike is fantastic and has surpassed my expectations ten fold.
I need way more talent though before I can exploit it to its full potential.

And as for going trail riding on your own :augie

I know its a risk but hey, isn`t everything. :thumb2
