Has any one considered using these "business cases" by Givi as a side case? They're only 8 inch deep (207mm in new money), just an inch more than the dinky E21's, but with a useful 36 litre capacity.
Just thinking of a way to keep the a**e-end slim with a reasonable capacity.

Hello mate, give it time, alot of riders are out there clocking the miles being a long weekend, sure you will get an answer in the next few days when all is back at work. As for your question, an interesting idea, although i have not considered it. What frame/frame did you intend on using?

I've an SW Motech framework on already. My E41's are just too wide to use - 120cm!
I've used my E21's which are acceptable at 100cm wide. I wondered about these B36's as by my reckoning they'll be about 105cm wide whilst being much bigger. And they aren't too dear.

Sod it. I've ordered a pair of Givi B36's. I'll let you know how it works out. it could be the next "big thing". Or not :nenau

When you get them, take a few pictures, did a little research on these, seem like a good idea if you going to use the bike mainly on tarmac. There was a couple comments about the geometry within the case, might be a problem when packing larger items. Good luck.

Nuts!
Snookered!
I was told yesterday at Hein Gericke that the B36's were stock & would be in by weekend. Today they aren't and it'll be 3+ weeks. To late for the holiday. :(

Pending inspiration it might end up an Ortlieb bag for holiday time!
