Does anybody know who makes the forks fitted to the G650 X Challenge ?

I have a sneaky suspicion they are un-branded White Power.
Though I could well be wrong,
but they do look very very similar internally and externally.

They are a cheap, not very adjustable version of the Marazocchi 45mm Shiver forks
However you can get some genuine Shiver forks and swap out the bottoms which are specifc to the XChallenge axle and brake

or go cheaper route and fit a set of 48mm or 46mm kayaba forks of a yamaha mx or eunduro bike. make sun difference on the older bike and they are knocking around very cheap.
Not very easy though, you have to adjust or buy some new yokes and try to machine the 45mm bottoms (specific to the X Series) onto a 46 or 48mm fork leg
Finding some similar 45mm Shivers is easiest and has been done already in USA
Are Xmoto Marzocchi's also ?

well not sure if has same headstock as f650gs but works out handy enough.
check advrider as there was good bit discussion on this topic
Fgs has right way up forks, ours are upside down. I don't know about headstock bearing size or distance between them but the clamps will be totally different.
you want forks like these on your xchallenge??? i know xchalleneg has the usd forks but the hadstock bearing on the f650gs is same as they yammy headstock so just buy the forks and clamps and its straight bolt on swop.
chances are you could take your own forks off and put better yammy ones on.
that or just get a good suspension specalist to set them up with correct oil, valves, progressive springs for your weight and riding
should be easier do on the xchallenge than on the f650gs

meant say what price are they? i know i got mine for 150euro and that was clamps and fork legs.
keep eye on ebay, if can get shivers that bolt on directly thats best bet but i was looking for forks before and marzocchi always were dear

I bought the fork and today it was delivered.
Now have a look what needs to be changed to use it on the XChallenge.
If I remember right the inmate on advrider removed the fork bottoms from each set of forks, drilled a hole in the xch ones to allow access to the damping adjusters on the bottom of the new forks and put them on the new forks. Simple!
I'm sure it is not quite as easy as I make it sound. Good luck.
