It's not "unpossible" that we could make it, loads of caveats though, weather, saturdays events, if we get Gails bike back etc, etc....

Got Norm aka Kevin arranging to meet a little off the M1 j29. Will then ride-up once I can gauge our meeting time. I just tend to know how long it takes me to do the route from home-2-York in around 3 hours & google_maps_directions is fairly on the nose with time.

If your reading this Kevin I take the M1>M18>A1(m) route rather than stay on the M1.

Tentative meeting time of around 6:30am. M1 jun29 (2nd turning for A617, meet at fuel/cafe thats there!!)

However its all good if you think M1 is better route up.

Cool Norm, the gaint car-park I found was 'un-specified location' by google_maps. It has a Waitrose & Tesco store within its boundary.

If you can post a location of our meeting point Norm, I will check this thread in morning as I'm about to move bike nearer road to not wake to many people.
