1. Lockability on the bike to prevent removal
2. Lockability of the actual bag - reduces the öpportunistic "theft" from the bike

4. 600 Denier Nylon - in Black

My bags were designed to not only incorporate this, BUT also added 50mm Nylon Webbing in a strategic section of the bag to prevent damage from a fall.

I only have 2 complete sets here in UK with me..... rest to follow with Pannier bags.

I was shown these bags when I picked up my panniers bag set. The standard of finish is as good as the pannier bags. A couple of nice features as shown above, they will not be easily removed if padlocked. :thumb2

I have not seen or used any other crash bar bags so can not make a direct comparison. :(

Water resistant... waterproof ............ :augie

If you use it in rain... it's going to protect your inner goodies........ but I suppose due to the fact that they have stitching etc... some water might creep through?

We use them on our bikes in the rain and keep celphone, wallet and keys in them whist riding and no water penetration.'

To increase protection, a quick spray with some Scotchguard helps as well......

Thought I had better post, a bit overdue since I bought them.

I received a set of these bags from Goose within a couple of days of buying, I can't praise them enough, absolutely fantastic and just what I was after for putting my Kenwood bike to bike radio in amoungst other bits and pieces.

Can't vouch for waterproofness as I haven't been out in the rain lately.

I have the TT ones already but up here in Darkest Africa (Kenya) the lockable option sounds great!

(If you send them here I wonder what the Post Office guys will do with them? No doubt they will end up in someone's house instead of mine! )
