Autocom 1273 Bluetooth dongle plugged into Aux#1 of my Super Pro Avi and paired to my HTC Tattoo phone works fine for one call, incoming or outgoing. However, as soon as that call ends no more calls are possible. The red LED that was flashing regularly when the phone was paired stays on, it seems permanently. Only cycling the ignition, in other words turning the Autocom off and an again, resets it.

At the end of an incoming or outgoing call the MP3 player plugged into Aux#3 is restored and everything else (GPS and PMR) work as they should.

Is this a phone issue or something up with the dongle :nenau

A friend has the new BTM-02 version Bluetooth dongle and when we meet up on the 24th we're swapping for a while to see if that works OK.

probably

the dongle, I had exactly the same with my older BT dongle & iphone. I believe the new ones are better but went the F4 route in the end.

Thanks, that's sort of good news, I'm tied into my phone by contract until Jan 2012 so changing that would be pricey.

My mate with the BTM-02 BT dongle bought it to pair with his Nuvi which it steadfastly refuses to do. Looks like we might have a solution swapping them over unless he can get his to work (will have to try and distract him until then ;) ). The newer one is stereo and mine mono but it will easily pair with the Nuvi for directions and MP3s though not phone.
