Fellow Tosser Carl is flogging some Ricky Bars in the For Sale/Wanted forum and posted a shot of them on his 1150 - see below. I want one of those cockpit cover thingies that you can see in the pic (the silver panel with the digital clock in the middle of it). PM'd Carl but thought I'd cast a wider net as well.

Anyone know who makes them - if anyone? Scoured Nippy's website to no avail...

There are not so many about.only ever seen one place selling them.

they make ones with or without the digital guage in them
they are fibreglass.

I have asked Adam if he wants to borrow mine for a pattern ,so he could offer them in cfibre.
perhaps he would make some if there were enough people interested ?

Chaps, I'd be very interested in bringing CF versions of these to the market. I'm expecting the first CF dash to be delivered any time soon and these would look fantastic with it.

I'd need probably at least 4 people to want one to make it worth while but I'd be happy to offer a deal for both pieces if people want a total dash from the tank forward?
 
Me too! What price is the dash going for and any idea what the price for the cockpit cover would be? Boxer Design, if it's still available, charge €79 for the cockpit tidy.

I'm sure I could market these for less, it might not be much less but please bare in mind that mine will be hand made carbon fibre, not mass produced GRP. I should have an accurate price on the dash very soon so I'll post up ASAP.
 
I'd be interested in a deal on both items - and I'd rather have CF than GRP!

That looks great. V smart indeed. It would look great in cf.

Just curious about the bars in the op's picture. Are they standard or after Market... They also look v smart.
 
OK, I have the costing back for the standard dash in CF - £57. I obviously don't have the price for the cockpit cover yet but I think it would be roughly the same. If it was then they'd retail for £114 for the pair (yes I'm a math's show off :D)

If we I can get 5+ names for the cockpit cover I can justify the costs of replacing the one I have been generously offered to use as a mold, and go ahead with the production.

If there are 5+ people who want both pieces I will do them for £100

I'll put a Group Buy thread in the Vendor section for people to put their names down on the relevant list
