Not used the 1150GS for 3 weeks

Getting phobic, it seems to be spinning over slowly on start up. The battery is an OEM bought from Motorworks 2 years ago, the original lasted from 2004 to 2009. It might just be that I'm used to my 900 Diversion starting differently, whereas the GS spins over slower.

This is even after a 25 mile commute to work.
 
probably just the oil thickening up as the temp drops.
I say ride it till it breaks or refuses to start, then you will know for sure :)

Starting

Try pulling the clutch in whilst cranking, this saves the gear box being turnd over. This came from the hand book of proper VW's, (aircooled) and it works well helps a bit.

I don't think any of them turn over that quick, big twin with no decompressor (showing my age!).
