No such lcuk though - it cleared up the day he got here. Bad news was, the heat and humidity it left behind were oppresive. 100+F tempes with 90% humidity make it rough to ride in.
Riding across Kansas...
We stayed in Kansas City, MO the first night and got up at daybreak the next day in an effort to beat the heat to Colorado...
Down the hill and into Breckenridge for the night. Looked like a shit bomb went off in our hotel room as we threw gear all over. We were in a hurry to get to the bar before last orders...
Next day and I was up well before sunrise. The three hour time change from home made it easy to get up early. Neil was still in bed....I think. Little fucker doesn't make much if a hump in his bed...
Bright, cool and crisp day out. Glorius to us after the heat we rode in to get here...
Aside from the riding, the best part of the day was stopping by the roadside to shoot the shit with good friends, soaking up the warm sunshine and fresh mountain air. It can't get any better...
