Having see various threads here ref difficulties in fitting the TT V2 lockable mount to the GSA screen bar, due to clearences etc, I have just fitted one today, see details and photos below:
As you are aware the mount supplied witht he V2 does not give sufficient clearance from the screen nor is the bracket big enough to fit round the bar correctly.
The Alder industries mount (see photos) or the Nippy Norman version is an exact fit for the bar.
First you need to get some longer screws,(35mm is about right)
the standard ones are too short, I could ony find half threaded allen head bolts in my local suppliers so had to cut the thread the full length then cut the bolt to length, you need the whole bolt threaded as the holes in the V2 are threaded too.
Next make or find in your parts bin 4 spacers made to the same length as the ones supplied with the kit (about 10mm). you need these to give you clearance from the screen and allow room behinfd the V2 for the release mechanism to work.
Attach the garmin mount to the V2 with the supplied spacers as per the instructions, screw the bolts through and fit the other 4 spacers between the back of the V2 and the mount on the bar. Tighten it up and job done, make sure you have the angle of the mount on the bar at the right angle as you cannot adjust it once the V2 is fitted. See pics.
