West Yorkshire Advanced Motorcyclists adopts a charity to support each year. This year we are raising funds for The Forget-Me-Not Children's Hospice based in Huddersfield which provides home-based care for children with terminal conditions in West Yorkshire and is about to open its first residential care home.
The Forget-Me-Not Charity has been selected from amongst hundreds of other organisations to reach the last 24 in a competition backed by Persimmon Homes to celebrate that company's 40th 'birthday'. The winning charity will receive a house worth £250,000 from Persimmon Homes! The funding this could bring to the Hospice would help make a massive difference to the children and families under their care.
