Following on from Nudie's recommendation we have been granted a royal charter by Bin Ridin to hold another edition of the much loved FishDash which enables us to ride our motorcycles through this green and pleasant land, have a feed of fish & chips and bugger off home again :aidan

We'll be leaving from Topaz Kill (Junction 7 on the N7 - GPS ref IN 95728 23582) at 10.00 sharp on Sunday 11th and taking a non-motorway / non-main road route to Stables Club in the University of Limerick.
They need to have an idea of numbers beforehand so, if you want to go and want to eat fish & chips, please let us know.
You can of course turn up on the day & ride with us to Limerick but there's no guarantee you'll get a feed at the end :rob

That is really great thank you!
I notice the Topaz is selling at 118c / litre on Google Earth anyhow, them were the days.
Hungry already!

We'll be in kerry:blast we may come to limerick and join ye for chips though:thumb

A family do on the Saturday night and prior arrangements on the Sunday mean that I'm going to miss this one. :(

Would "Pie Sunday" date not suit more folks. Just a suggestion. I'll crawl back under my wee rock again

Pie Sunday has sort of turned into a Chowder Chase :D

Sure no reason not to do both, don't think anyone round here is going to be turning down another opportunity for food :fnikefork

Quite possibly (looking at the numbers !)
But it's not an either / or
Anyone who wants to can do both
In addition to going north on the 25th (for pie, chowder, whatever) I'm taking a spin to Limerick on the 11th with Bin for some fish & chips and anyone who's free / hungry / bored can join us ;)

oops apologies
I thought Frank was organising a charity run same day

Frank's not organising it but yes, there's a charity run the same day
What can I tell ya, everyone wants to get out in the good weather ;)

Funny enough i am 1 of the 5 people involved in organising the charity run.

Having said that i posted my run about 5 minutes before jochen posted the fish dash,i would not try to compete with a dash and only posted about gerrys run because i thought there was nothing else on that date and some might like a spin

Anyone who would like to come on the spinal injuries run is more than welcome but i know that good fish and chips are hard to refuse

Now if you were to head to limerick via longford

So, for those of us meeting ya there, what sort of time ish will ye expect to be arriving?!:thumb

10.00 AM start and three & a half hours riding, so say 14.00 or just before ;)

As the endpoint is 15 mins from home, I might ride out and meet yous somewhere. What route are ye taking from Dub a lin, any stops along the way?
You've got mail ;)

If anyone else wants to meet enroute PM me & I'll give you an idea of where & when we'll be passing.

Anyone coming from Cork, Kerry or Galway & heading straight to the meet, we're heading here -

The Sports Bar is N52 40.386 W8 33.929 beside the University Arena. Plenty of parking

Grub will be ordered tomorrow (Thursday) evening on the basis of who has posted here. If you haven't posted yet get on & do it or you might find yourselves eating in Donkey Fords :eek

Very likely I'll see ye there. :thumb
If ya ask Daithi nicely he might show ya how to put the co-ordinates into the GPS :D
