As it could be the last meet this year :( how about it being on the Monday night, 29th, swmbo and Daz's better half fancy coming along for a natter, (with each other) and have promised to let us talk bikes.
I think Chris G is up for the Monday, so what does everybody else think, and if you fancy bringing your partner there will be plenty room as quiz night is Tuesday :)
 
Can`t do that as I have a night school class on Monday nights.
Am on early shift that week too,so was available for the Tuesday.
If the reason is to avoid the quiz,why not Wednesday or Thursday night ??
 
MOndays

I always have a 3pm until 7pm meeting in Solihull on Mondays so it'll have to be straight from work and i'll be in the metal cage but otherwise either day will do. Will bring my girlie too if you like.

Monday so I can`t make it and Rushy has to live up to his name?

P.S.
Why is it likely to be last meet of the year? I`m sure that even out there they have a December... :P

Just thought with Christmas and all that jazz, people would be tied up :whip if you know what I mean :D

Pub meet

Well guys will it be Monday or will it be Tuesday? Also will there ever be a night that we can all make it? I can make either night, but it seems that no matter which night is chosen at least one of us won't be able to make it. As Les said in the start of this thread, the wife will be coming along with me. She met Les' wife last week and they decided to come along so as not to be left out. Rushy if you bring your other half, between the three of them they should be able to keep themselves amused while we talk about the important things in life (which is usualy bikes/riding bikes).
So getting back to the big question, Monday or Tuesday. If we don't make our minds up soon it will be too late. When I saw Les last week he mentioned changing the night to Monday this month. As he usually has to rush over to us straight from work after nine and therefore misses out on most/any of the intelligent conversation, I said i would go on the Monday if it was ok with the majority.
Rushy, Chris G, Joe, Silence, please make your decision known asap so the correct night can be posted.

Just to continue the indecision I can make either night and don’t mind.

I will also try to bring the misses along (depends on cold / wet etc).

Shall we opt for the night that most people can make it ? is that Tuesday.

I can only make the Monday night, with pillion :) so if its Monday we will be there, if not will see you all next year :eek:

We will have to draw straws :P


And here's another one, if the weathers good next Sunday (28th) I'm free for a ride out, Daz if your still up for it I'll give you a shout in the week.
 
Sunday ride

Hi Les, Im always up for a good rideout. Let me know the place and time to meet up and I'll be there.

With all the problems we're having trying to work out the best night to hold the pub meeting on. Maybe it would be a good idea for us all to write down the days of the week that we are unable to attend. With this information we can try to set the monthly meeting up so as everyone will be able to attend if they wish.
The nights I carn't attend are Friday and Saturday. I know some people work shifts but there must be some way of making it fair for everyone.

As for this months meeting we need to take a vote as to which night to hold it on. Tarka its a shame that you carn't make it on Monday night. As you couldn't make it last month I know you were determined to make this months meeting. Normally becouse of this I would vote for a Tuesday night meeting. But as Les has been to nearly all of the meetings, and has had to race over straight from work just to catch the last hour, I'm going to vote for Monday night. This would give Les his only full meeting of the year. Tarka if the vote is in favour of Monday night and in doing so you cannot attend, for the next meeting I'll vote for which ever night suits you best. ( hopfully by then we will have picked a night that suits everyone ).

Sorry for any spelling mistakes, its late and my head hurts.

Pub meeting

Hi guys, we've only got a few days left to decide the day of the meeting. So far rushy hasn't picked a day, and we still haven't heard anything from Chris G. It looks like its up to you two to decide which day the meeting will finally be held. That is unless you both vote for different days, as this will result in a tie.

( Maybe someone should flip a coin )

sitting on my fence I am not bothered which night, but as I sort of sowed the seed with Les for this monday meet [and as he attends every meet after racing from work on a Tues], I would go for Monday this time [ Sorry tarka ( I think the SV650 crew meet on a tuesday near your gaff), and Silence.


PS are we playing out on Sunday [ I may have my pass signed]:D
And I am in need of a bloody long jaunt round the welshies :D

Sunday rideout sounds like a good idea .Will have a pillion on Sunday too.

Been too busy to surf the site in the week and spending all weekend from Friday am at the girlies with no internet access.

Daz can you please call me / text me with details of the rideout?

Hope y`all enjoy and perhaps we can all make a January meeting.

I`m not available for a Sunday run,as I don`t go on leisure rides of a weekend,full stop.Being a shift worker,I go mid-week when there is a minimal/zero plod prescence...have fun,C U soon !!

Tarka/Silence I'm sorry you carn't make it, we'll try to make January's meeting suitable for everyone. Les now that Chris has worked out the run for Sunday, can you let me know the time and meeting place as both Rushy and Joe have asked me to let them know. A rough idea of the route would also be helpfull.
