These Forums are FREE. Free to read and post messages; however there are three levels of membership, read below and see which suits you.

1. Unregistered users: You can look but you can’t touch, or rather you can’t post. You can’t use any of the functionality features either because if we’re going to let you post on the site, we want to know who you are.

2. Member: This is the free membership that was always considered very important. All you need to do is tell us a little bit about you first. We don't want your home address and we won't ever email you any "special offers" or other such spam, we would just like to know that you are not signing up to make offensive posts or to generally annoy other members. Once you have registered, you can post messages. You can also download attached files that others have posted, post links to pictures that have been saved in your own web space and respond to the Opinion Polling feature. The features that you can use however, will not change.

3. UKGSer Sponsor: If you get a lot of entertainment/enjoyment from the site you can contribute towards the Maintenance & Hosting/Traffic costs. You can become a UKGSer Sponsor pledging a £12 annual (3p per day) contribution towards the running of the board. By way of a thank you, you'll get some extras, in order to show our appreciation:-

i. You will get a 'Forums Sponsor' logo under your user name, which is shown in all your posts.
ii. You can use the site-based messaging service, which allow you to send instant pop-up messages to others that you can see using the Forums. You can send them private messages including file attachments and you can create a “Buddy List” which lets you send a private messages to a group of people all at once.
iii. You can start your own online Opinion Polls and survey the views of other members.
iv. You can use the rating system to rate how good threads are.
v. You can post file attachments for others to download. These can be any computer files such as a sound bites, video clips, pictures, documents etc. All of which are stored on our server.
vi. You will have some administrative privileges, like being able to edit or move threads that you have started to other forums, delete entire threads that you started and close threads that you have started in order to prevent further postings to them.
vii. You can use the upload feature which makes uploading your pictures to the site a doddle, rather than having to upload it to your own web space and the reference it with the “[img]” codes. (std members can still post pictures by posting a link to them at their own web space.)
viii. You can post in the For sale and Wanted section.
