I still need to know if I can just unplug the lambda sensor.
what are the long term consequences of doing so. cos the bike was just magic without !

It just sets the overall fuelling to a default "map" which is richer than when the Lamda is adjusting fuel trims

Some people get awfully anal about this sort of stuff

If the bike is riding nice and the Tail pipe is Biscuity brown to a little sooty and NOT white It should be fine

Personnally I have had a valve head drop off twice in a 1200 and I don;t trust them and prefer them a little richer so that there is a "Lower" exhaust gas temp than when they run lean
