Out for a gentle bit of laning in North Yorkshire for Boxing Day. Started off going over Preston Moor.

The derelict smelting works.
From Preston Moor it was up to High Moor and on to West Burton….
From West Burton out towards Cray and the track to Stalling Busk.
Coming down towards Semerwater.
And ending up at Oxnop Scar. The road down below is from Askrig to Muker. Met quite a few other riders out for the day including some that looked like guided tours, and plenty of walkers. Cold through by the time I got home despite having heated grips. But a grand day out all the same.
Looks a good day out around some of my favourite trails
Yorkshire is such a beautiful place to be on a bike on byways despite the cold hands

I’ll lead a group in the spring when the days are slightly longer, be warned I like frequent tea stops. The lanes are probably more suited to small trail bikes but big bikes are welcome.
