I managed to pick one of these up, brand new, with labels on EBay for a very significant discount.

Looks very well made. Whilst I prefer ‘top loading’ bags, it was too good an opportunity to pass up on. I’ll give it a try out on the back of my Himalayan over Easter, in place of the tail pack I was going to use.

I have the old BMW ‘large bag’ which, in truth is very good. Whilst it fits onto the rear seat of my Himalayan, it is way too big for just a long weekend and looks a bit ‘over sized’ on the little 411.

I think the rucksack design is better than say, Kriega, as it is all ‘in one piece’ if you get my drift. Similarly, being a rucksack, you can stick it on your back, carting stuff up the stairs of a hotel, leaving both hands free.

The four straps it comes with look adequate to hold it onto any motorcycle. I’ll just use the `Himalayan’s pannier rails, not least as I won’t have any panniers (hard or soft) fitted.

It works really well.

Large enough for a long weekend or week away.

Use Pack-It cubes to keep things tidy and compressed.
