The shame of it.

A report in today’s Times, reveals that the best haggis comes, not from Scotland but over 800 miles away in Southampton.

I am very partial to haggis but had always assumed that the Scots would clean up in any blind tasting competition, not losing out to the enemy across the border. It seems though that resting on their laurels has seen quality slip. A sad state of affairs and, no doubt, a severe dent to national pride.

Here’s the winner:

According to Brut33 (Stu) the best haggis comes from Lancashire. Bury, I believe.

No, that's Bury Black Pudding.
My local butcher does a decent haggis which I often take north when visiting friends in Scotland......coals to Newcastle and all that.

You appear to have missed the flaw in the argument.
