Hi to and thanks for the join. Having had a bumpy year reliability wise with my first GS (2015 1200), I went to look at the new 1300. But having done the sums I left with a 23 pre-reg 1250 GS Triple Black that had been fully loaded. Very happy as it was about £6k less than an equivalent 1300 
. A few trinkets from Nippy Norman's and am now looking forward to getting to know the 1250, which feels more different than expected...in a good way.
I also ride a rare, first series 'camel tank' 1971 Laverda 750sf which satisfies my needs for tinkering, simplicity and old skool style. Costing twice the price of a CB750/4 when new, it was a rare and exotic beast dubbed the 'Lamborghini of bikes' in its day, ownership now relies on a small international network of owners and artisan specialists. Great fun.
