Keyless Steering Lock Not Working

Hi all,

As of this week my key less steering lock is not engaging when I press and hold the Botton, any one else had this happen / know if there's an owners quick fix please?

You can hear it whir and move but for some reason it does not fully engage in place.

Have you tried wiggling the steering to just off full-lock so it has some free play in it to engage the locking pin? Hard over full lock can sometimes cause my bike to baulk rather than engage the lock.

It only locks in one direction to iirc, wiggle it is usually the key move

Thanks for all the reply guys, tried wiggling it but still not catching. Ill have to visit my local BMW dealer.

Mine did the same last year, had it replaced under warranty.
