Anyone know of a guru who can advise me on a leaky hydraulic table lift? Works Ok but pisses oil out of the pump inlet spindle. It's an ancient Machine Mart ( Clarkes) model, Clarkes are not interested due to age.

any hydraulic repair shops/suppliers will probably be of help and know the sort of pump & o-rings likely to go wrong.

Have a look at sandblasters.co.uk. They sell lifts and spare parts that may fit yours.

Guys, have sorted it, Finally managed to get the offending nut/gland off and the shaft was mullered, a friend advised me to use a firm in Leigh Sinton, KV Hydraulics who manufactured a new Gland with a more robust oil seal cavity and a new shaft was fabricated, all in 2 days! Reassembled and working well.
