One of mine
I think that I have found a clean GSA that would give mine a good competitor!
Amazingly well looked after, well done. Mine is similar, 2005 GSA with 35k miles. Showroom condition and Steptoe major service in the last couple of months.
Just trying to find a top box now
Let’s see some pics then, I have owned mine from new
Well went to look at a 1150 today , described as in good condition for it age ( maybe if it had spent the last 10 years in a leaking shed) corrosion of fork leg bottoms, fork brace, engine casings, gearbox, final drive, wheel hubs ,exhaust, spokes , rear sub frame, some dubious wiring visible running from handlebars and around the headstock with no wrapping left on it, split heated grips etc and would not start it up for me to listen to as it was inside .
Then wasoffered half of the value of my current bike and price on the gs was fixed.
NO THANK YOU ,, a 250 mile round trip but I now know what I do not want condition wise
Very nice Nando, looks a beauty.
Where do you get that sort of information, re production number?
Well I hold this thread and posters fully responsible for today, used to own the 113th gs off the production line and now own the 135th, really nice condition and the mileage is genuine
Blast from the past , took me ages to find the post to print this off
Mine is still there in the lid after all these years…

Could you post a link to it please Neil for a lazy b’stard? If you do go down the Mandarin colour scheme route and need to sell on your tank cover I may be interested to buy. I’ve recently bought a silver GS that I’m returning to standard and I’m looking for period accessories such as I had on my first (Mandarin) GS. Those wheels look immaculate! I hope to be sending mine to a chap by the name of Roy Thersby for a full renovation but it’s going to cost a small fortune so has to wait a bit.
