This is advertised locally. Not had an MOT since 2009, and has random recorded mileages before that. Probably overpriced, by quite a lot.
Bit of fun, interesting project, or a money pit…?
Slightly tempted. What could possibly go wrong……?

Could be a deep money pit. Check the price of possible Yamaha spares first.

Hmm.
If you like streetfighters then, at a distance, this one appears to be well finished around the headstock/headlamp area.
Assuming all is well with the engine then its worth maybe £500.
I had a long term borrow of one of these after the owner had a low speed off resulting in a possible £5k bill for damage to most panels and rear subframe - great power at the top end but lovely and gentle rise through the middle - quite useful when hillclimbing it in the wet on knackered tyres.......
And of course its pre-Exup so that pipe should sound lovely.
