Brilliant weekend and Connemara really is amongst the most beautiful parts of this planet. Coupled with brilliant company, the weekend was superb and thanks to Jochen et al for organising. Quite how the hotel do deals like that is unbelievable and Jochen even arranged a perfect sunny day!

I was talking to someone today who rides and R1 and he couldn't believe I had ridden for 16 hours and had 2 ferry trips just for a day and a couple of nights in Leenane! I said if I had to explain, then he really wouldn't get it. Worth every mile......

Thanks to the folk (J & J) who stitched the event together; I had other business in Mayo & the weekend slipped by rather quickly - so quickly that I did not get to meet some of the folk there. No snub intended - my loss really.
