I bought travel insurance for me and my daughter for a bike trip to Norway...it was only after buying it I noticed this too......the travel insurance does not cover accidents on motorbikes over 125cc (in my case).
This means if you crash or get knocked off your bike then you are not covered by your travel insurance.......
I phoned my travel insurance about this and it is what they told me - previously this was not the case a couple of years ago.
HOWEVER! Your bike insurance may offer this cover (mine does), but it does not apply to pillions.......
The only way I could get insurance for myself and a pillion was to buy a years worth of cover for about £300ish of your english pounds......
I would be happy to know if someone finds travel insurance for motorbikes above 125cc
